These pictures are from Katie's first Sunday at church. Everyone was so excited to finally meet the little girl they had been praying about for long. Katie was equally excited about meeting so many new people. We were especially happy to introduce her to Kylie, the daughter of our friends Jon and Donna. All of us are sure that Katie and Kylie will be friends since they're so close in age and will grow up in the church nursery together.
After church, we went home for a nap, then headed to Elk Grove park for our church's annual swim party/baptism. We had fun sitting on the edge of the pool, kicking our feet while watching the baptism (Katie thought it was the biggest bath tub she had ever seen). It was awesome to see so many of our friends demonstrating their commitment to Christ by getting baptized.
